CERTIFICATION
IMPARTIALITY POLICY
GRAND CERT Sp z o.o., as an accredited certification body, declares that impartiality and professional ethics are among the most important determinants of our certification activities. Therefore, guided by the requirements of the PN-EN ISO/IEC 17021.1:2015 and PN-EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013-03 standards, we assure you that Grand Cert Sp z o.o.:
• • is an independent, objective, and impartial third-party certification body
• • does not offer or conduct any consulting activities in the field of management system certification that could compromise its impartiality and independence. • • does not cooperate with or have any affiliations with any consulting organizations in the field of management system certification.
• • applies a two-year period from the provision of management system advice, which minimizes the risk of impartiality to the accepted level.
• • does not organize or conduct dedicated training for clients that could compromise impartiality and independence.
• • does not conduct internal audits for certified clients.
• • does not provide any services related to the design, manufacture, or supervision of certified products, processes, or services.
• • the Grand Cert certification body makes its services available to all applicants whose activities overlap with its scope of activity.
• • access to the certification process for the Grand Cert certification body is contingent on the size of the client or membership in any association or group, and certification is not contingent on the number of certificates already issued. The certification body may refuse to accept an application or maintain a certification agreement with a client if there are fundamental or demonstrable reasons, such as: the client's involvement in illegal activities, previous and repeated non-compliance with certification/product requirements, or similar issues related to the client.
• • does not certify other certification bodies for management systems or any parts thereof.
• • avoids services and relationships that may involve a conflict of interest.
To ensure the impartiality of internal and external personnel/employees that may influence certification results, Grand Cert Sp. z o. o. requires employees to report any situations they become aware of that may pose a conflict of interest.
Grand Cert Sp. z o. o. management will use this information as data to identify threats to impartiality related to the activities of employees or the organizations that engage them, and will not engage such personnel if they cannot demonstrate the absence of a conflict of interest.
• • Auditors may not perform more than three consecutive audits for the same company.
• • The audit is conducted by a person other than the person responsible for verification or certification decisions.
• • ensures equal access to its services for all applicants for management system certification.
In its operations, Grand Cert Sp. z o. o. regularly identifies risks related to its impartiality.
• These include risks arising from its activities, its relationships, or the relationships between its employees. If a risk to impartiality has been identified, Grand Cert Sp. z o. o. demonstrates how it eliminates or minimizes them. If there is a likelihood of bias in Grand Cert Sp. z o. o.'s activities, the final decision on the feasibility of certification is made after consideration by the Impartiality Committee.
