CERTIFICATION
IFS FOOD
The Association of Members of the German Retail Federation Handelsverband des Deutschland (HDE) and their French colleagues - the Federation of Retail and Distribution Companies (FCD) have developed a standard for ensuring the safety and quality of food products sold by retailers under trademarks. The standard was given the name ІFS Food, which allows you to assess the system of ensuring food safety and quality, guided by one approach. This standard covers all stages of production and processing of food products. ІFS Food Standard is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).
The main goals of ІFS Food are:
defining a single standard that would cover all enterprises from the point of view of food quality and safety,
cooperation with accredited certification bodies and qualified auditors,
ensuring comparison and transparency of the entire supply chain,
reducing time and costs for both suppliers and sellers.
Content of the IFS Food standard:
Part 1: Audit protocol
Part 2: List of audit requirements..
Part 3: Requirements for Accreditation Bodies. Certification Bodies and Auditors.
Part 4: Report development, AuditXpressTM software and IFS audit portal.
Part 5: Unannounced audit report for auditors.
