General information
Global G.A.P Standard – an international standard for good agricultural practice, it is a scientifically and technically justified system, which guarantees high quality and safety of products and serves as the basis for the economic success of the company.
Introduction of the Global G.A.P. is a guarantee that a specific product will be obtained provided that all recommendations and requirements are strictly observed at every technological stage of agricultural production. In accordance with the requirements of the standard, production risk is minimized by tracking the entire production cycle, for example, from the moment of purchase or production of feed, seed, other technical and technological resources, and until the final products are obtained.
Global G.A.P Standard recognized by the International Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), which means compliance with the highest international requirements for product safety.
Who is the standard for?
Global G.A.P Standard is designed to certify farmers (primary producers) who are engaged in its production and cultivation, including harvesting, milking, raising animals until slaughter, fishing and the like. In addition, the scope of certification covers the basic processing of products, including operations that do not destroy the original structure of the product, for example cooling, packaging and transport of products, treatment of products with mixtures to give it special properties.
The standard is intended for the following agricultural sectors:
Cultivation of plants (vegetables and fruits; cereals; tea; green coffee; ornamental cultures and flowers and so on).
Animal husbandry (breeding cattle and sheep; pigs; calves; breeding chickens; breeding turkeys; animal transport; dairy farms and the like.
Breeding aquatic animals and plants.
